How to ‘fit’ your after-work bra.

How to ‘fit’ your after-work bra.

Many can relate to the ‘ahh’ moment when, after a long day of work, you finally get to take off your bra. For some, continuing braless is totally comfortable. For others, it’s actually still uncomfortable so having a soft, wire-free bra to slip into offers relief and holds your bosoms in place a bit more than wearing nothing. PLUS it holds your bust off your skin (less sweating).

After-work wireless bras have been referred to as a ‘Home Bra’ or a ‘Sleep Bra’...but what’s the difference? Not much actually! If you feel comfortable in it and it does what you want it to, that’s all that matters. How that bra is 'fit' on your body MAY make the difference.

To get a bit more technical, a Sleep Bra is specifically worn to hold your bosom in place a bit more while sleeping and can be fit much looser in the band. Seeing as it’s only worn in bed, having a more relaxed band, can be a bit more comfy. You still receive some hold from the soft cups without the pressure from a firm band.

If you’re running around the house, quickly taking the dog out or popping over to the grocery store, you may consider a Home Bra. This is also a wire-free bra BUT the band can be fit snugger to hold the bosom a bit closer to your body so you don’t move as much.

When the after-work bra comes off and you’re comfortable braless, great! If you’re more comfortable with a bit of support, try a wireless bra with a gentle to firm snugness in the band.

If you just want a bra for sleeptime support, try a wireless bra with a really soft fabric and a gentler hold/looser band so you don’t feel it as much while you're trying to sleep.

You can also wear the same bra for both. Consider trying a size with a looser band so you can tighten it for being more active and then loosen it when you go to bed!
